Thanksgiving Wedding

Lauri and Steve chose Thanksgiving weekend as the perfect time for their wedding, celebrated with family and friends. The Air Force Academy Chapel ceremony was followed by a luncheon reception at the Broadmoor Hotel. The air was crisp and clear, 50+ degrees, with Colorado's trademark deep blue sky. My best wishes to Lauri, Steve, Elissa, and Nate!!

A few raindrops didn't dampen anyone's spirit Sunday afternoon. Look closely to see Chris's "Thumbs Up" as he walks toward the alter. The buzz during the evening was about your heartfelt ceremony and vows...and for keeping the candles burning as the rain squall moved in. Congratulations!

7/7/07 Broadmoor Wedding

It'll be interesting reading about today's news, to see just how many couples were married on 07/07/07. The wedding industry's been abuzz for months about this once-in-a-lifetime lucky date. Yes, I bought Lotto tickets for tonight's drawing.
It was an honor to photograph Kimberly and Chris' late morning wedding, luncheon and reception at The Broadmoor. After a few moments of quiet time together, it was off to the ceremony, where unity candles played an important role. Their guests lined the bridge that crosses the lake at the hotel, blowing bubbles at the couple, who then led everyone to the reception in the Penrose Room.
