Need a flag?

Albuquerque, I-40 & Carlisle St: Although I didn't see any wedding flags, I'm sure vlflags.com can come up with something. Vernon and Linda travel from town to town in their bus, setting up in K-Mart lots to sell their flags.
This is a quick example of how I tell stories as a photojournalist. Lower photograph is a scene setter taken with a wide angle (fisheye) lens. It gives an overall view. The top image (moderate telephoto lens) takes you in for a closer look as Vernon unfurls flags atop the bus.

Santa Fe or Bust

Begin blogging: Enroute to Santa Fe to photograph Patty and Miles' wedding this weekend, stopping first in Albuquerque for another assignment. What's a road trip without 'good eats', as they say at the Range Cafe. I've now eaten at all 3 of their locations and couldn't resist photographing these little stoves decorating the Menaul Blvd eatery. I'm told they were acquired on eBay, not sure if they're gas or electric.
